A Belarusian border guard sneaked into Ukraine under fire from his colleagues to fight on the side of the Ukrainian armed forces.
"The detainee said that he was a Belarusian border guard serving in the Brest Border Guard Group. He said that he dared to violate the law in order to join the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
The man also said that he had like-minded people concerning the need to confront Russia. The Belarusian border guard went to Ukraine with one of them, but on the way to the border they were discovered and chased with gunfire, so only he was able to cross the state border.
